Couples in the target group are identified
annually by updating eligible couple register and motivated for accepting
family planning methods. Couples accepting permanent Family Planning
methods are given cash compensation at Rs.200/- for Tubectomy and
Rs.150/- for Vasectomy. Provision is also available for the grant
of special incentive such as special leave and special increment to
the Govt. employees having two and less children and accept permanent
family planning methods. Couples accepting temporary methods are given
condoms and oral pills free of charge. Counseling is also done for
the couples
