Provisions |
- All
births and deaths have to be registered.
- All
bodies under the PNDT viz. genetic counselling centre, Genetic
Laboratory or Genetic Clinic cannot function unless registered(
Section 3(1) of the PNDT act).

All mental patients under the order of reception by a Magistrate
have to be admitted to a Psychiatric Hospital recognised by Govt.
and necessary treatment given till the patients recover from the
illness.
- All
the Medico-legal cases and unnatural deaths admitted in the hospital
has to be reported to the local SHO for investigation
- As
per the Medical Council Act all the registered Doctors in the
service of Govt. or private practitioners are required to attend
to all patients irrespective of their caste, creed or religion
